Cotton-Twiggy

My cotton version of Twiggy is finally finished. Pretty true to original.

Yarn is Garnstudio Muskat, 3 strands worked together. Crispy!

And finally casted on the Butterfly. The lace edging really takes all concentration, pretty well done from an 8 row pattern.

That’s a lovely sweater! The photos of your knitting have almost inspired me to buy the twinkle book. I used to think that the patterns wouldn’t flatter my physique, but I think this looks great on your figure– so maybe it will work for me! Are there any patterns in the book that you don’t think you would ever wear?

    Thanks!

I guess that the funnel neck ones would be hard to pull off with this busty figure of mine, so no Shopping Tunic or StBarts dress (or whatever that black silk-cotton dress was…). Best Friend cardigan would probably not flatter when buttoned, but weared open even that would be OK. That summer tunic with bikini flaps would need some adjustments to work for my figure and I never could wear it on bare skin. But on a hot summer day over bikini top, why not…

I’m going to make Coco cardigan in black, probably without pockets in the top half, mohair shrug and another Karate Sweater, a longer version. But after that, I swear, I will let that book rest a while :-D. For me, this book has absolutely been the best pattern book purchase, ever!

Keep going! And when you’ve exhausted the patterns in the book, send it to me ;) Just kidding; I don’t have that kind of patience. I bet I’ll give in to temptation and buy it in the next few months. You’re very good at knitting and photography of FO’s , and thanks for the tips on the pattern selection.
