For a while I’ve been searching a suitable yarn for this knit:

It’s from Erika Knight’s Glamour Knits book. I love the exact colours and finding the colourway on one yarn quality has been harder than I thought. Three right colours is my best find so far.

So I end up to the yarn mentioned in pattern: Yeoman Cannele. What a spectrum of colours in this yarn, but I have no idea, why Erika does not mention the colour names or numbers in her pattern… …well, then, got to trust my eye and some luck:

Not bad!

Some (lurex, yikes, not sure about that) yarn for thin stripes and to work…

Hmm, some bourette silk was mystically travelled to my shopping cart. Will use this for some dyeing experiments.
