Magic Shawl

I’m spending my last years summer holiday by photographing and knitting (what’d you thought!!). Anyway, I got to get out to enjoy that sunny spirng day, but before that, let me introduce Magic Shawl.
From the back you can see well the structure of the shawl.
(Hmm, those strings are not from shawl, but my t-shirt. My hair is not actually messy but curly, I didn’t bother to straighten it :-P)
I guess that I’m going to wear it with fitting clothes. The shawl is so chunky that I don’t want end up looking like Michelin Man. Easy everyday combination would be with skinny jeans, white tee and boots, the shawl would add a touch of unusual to that simple outfit. Might work thrown over a party dress (outside, NOT in the party) and in wintertime thrown over fitted overcoat for extra warmth for chilliest of days.
One button keeps the shawl surprisingly well at place, but I think that i might add one hidden button to other edge of ribbing.

Yarn: Kauhavan Kangasaitta, Melli, 100 % wool
Needles: 15 mm for cables, 12 mm for ribbing
Adjustments: left away those crocheted loops for hands, unnecessary and unpractical.
